we all know the big mishead lyrics like Hendrix's "Purple Haze" ('Scuse me, while i kiss this guy) and Manferd Mann's "Blinded By The Light" (Wrapped up like a douche, another lover in the night), but can anyone think of any Chimaira songs that they often mishear?

My favorite one is from Let Go, during the part that says "Fix my past", I hear "Fix my pants, fix my pants, fix my pants, I cant let go" and I laugh my ass off everytime I listen to it.

Anyone have any others?

everyone i show Let Go to, they all hear "fix my pants"...i am laughing right now, just picturing Mark in the studio, recording his tracks, and struggling to fix the zipper on his pants...I CANT LET GO! haha oh man, i am easily amused i suppose.

during severed, the demo at least, during the first few lines, when it goes "I can't focus" i thought he was saying "Wipe your toot toot!" like someones ass was stinky as hell and they needed to take care of it BAD! anyone agree?

My girlfriend thought that the 'May guns rise to kill me' was 'Bacon tries to kill me'.
She was trying to sing it at me in a gravely voice when i was driving! Almost crashed the car i was laughing so much.
Its fucking ruined the song for me now, cause those are the lyrics i hear in my head now! Bollocks. lol

The first time i heard power trip i thought the opening sample was something about white power. lol. I thought it was an anti racist song! Fuck your power trip, you conservative religous fucker. hahaha :D :p

while its not an actual lyric, the sample at the start of power trip ("He stepped out of that garden, lemme tell you this, he had god like power!")

I could never figure it out, but I always thought he said something about ripping off your right arm. Again, i am dumb, so forgive lol.

does anyone know where this sample came from? what is it in reference to?

Just remembered I used to sing during Pure Hatred - instead of "a vicious cycle", I used to sing "you vicious psycho".

Also in Dead Inside, where it's "You left feeling so empty and needing", I said "You left feeding so tedious eating" or something ridiculous.
