Hey does anyone know when the new CD will be comming out? I know they are working on one just dont know a date.

As far as the new CD goes, all I have heard is that it's currently being worked on and no doubt that it'll be out this fall.

Yeah I easy say July, I can't wait to fucking see them again! They're rumoured for Download Festival in the UK this year and I'm hoping SO desperately they'll play it, because I don't think they'll be on these shores again until at least 2006 if they don't do Download, and that'd suck major ass.

they just started recording and what not in January from what i remember from reading Chris's journal...it was either writing or recording. either way itll be out by the end of this year or early next. :D

silly boy this is only the headlines for each day there is gonna be more than nine bands playing over three days, chimaira have a high chance of being on the bill. i think i heard them say they were gonna do some summer festivals but i donrt know fingers crossed!

Nah that's only the first batch of bands....Lamb of God and Chimaira have both got big interests in playing it this year, apparantly Chimaira said so at the Hammersmith Xmas gig, and there's gonna be a shitload more announced than just these.

Only band worth seeing out of the ones on the Download site are Slayer so far!

I totally agree with Killswitcher. This is what is gonna keep Chimaira around. Thei ability to keep changing things up and still make great records. This is a rare quality with bands today. Back in the day bands like Sepultura and Slayer remained heavy but did something different on each record. Alotta bands today are not capable of that and I see alot of heavy bands goin on right now being dead or on their face in 4 years. But Chimaira will rise above all the bullshit. I think Chimaira, Mastodon, and Unearth are the best things going on right now. I cant say I see bands like Lamb of God and As I Lay Dying making records 5 years from now.
