I like the style Chris went with on TIOR. POOE was good for what it was, but TIOR was a different kind of album. I guess it just depends on the mood and theme of the new album, but I have a feeling there will be more of a mix between the two albums or something new altogether instead of just rehashing the same style over again.

I voted for same...coz he is doing great the way it is right now.. Any more of that and it may take away the pounding metal sound they've got
Yes he does a great job! "It isn't too much and it's not too little..."
My vote goes for about the same as on TIOR, certainly no more.

Same, no doubt - Works perfectly on TIOR, its very subtle.

I voted option 3, as it was the closest to what id like to see. Id like to see more electronics than impossibility of reason, but maybe not as much as pass out of existence.

I love the sound Chris gave them on POOE, it made them stand out from 99% of the other bands around... if it ends up being like it was on TIOR, that would still be cool. :)

I think i want to hear more electronics on the new album. It really depends on how much they fit to each song.
im gonna be a smartass and put the dance music one

I say same as TIOR. Too much electronics would kill the heavy sound

Option 3 i thinks, Them sounds make the band so unique, as long as its short little sounds then the more the better i say,

ya, ill agree with that...to much electronics would overpower the heavy guitars and drums

if it was an option i'd go with More than TIOR, but different than POOE.
now i'm just guessing as to the new direction chimaira's going with their new album (i'm sure we all have a little idea from what we've been told), but as far as samples/electronics go i'd like to hear something like mortician. maybe don't take it that far.... maybe think along the lines of Vexation but less future sound, more doom.
