Hopefully Chimaira will read this.You guys should come over to Dublin on June 13th with Slayer and Mastodon.That would make a great gig.You wouldn't have to travel far because you are playin the Download Festival on the june 11th. Yeah, i'm Irish too, and that would be an amazing gig, but i don't really like Mastodon, but Slayer are good. But i just hope Chimaira come over here some time soon!:)

Well Chimaira on their own is a great gig.They blew God Forbid,Shadows fall and K.S.E. off the stage when they came here in June.So With Slayer afterwards that makes it legendary.

They are playing in the Ambassador. Tickets are 45euro and went on sale on friday.check mcd.ie for more details.

On another note they could come over with Slipknot on June 10th. just announced(RDS 38euro... its on aiken promotions website)
The Download festival is great for getting bands over to Ireland....Come on

A lot of bands skip over Ireland when they do a tour with small support because they probably think they won't get the crowds for some reason.
So they always seem to come over with decent support.
For example Iron Maiden are coming over in August with Marilyn Manson.

You fucker, I thought they were playing that date! I doubt it'll happen, but you can always hope. That gig is probably sold out already, got my ticket anyway! It'll be class. You're gonna have a hard time getting in if you're 17, its over 18s only. Id say chimaira will be coming to Ireland over that month for a show anyway, so I'd rather see more of them in a headlining spot than with slayer.

Of course, ill be seeing slayer twice in the space of 2 days, and LOG will more than likely be playing aswell. I emailed the band letting them know that they are wanted, and chris got back to me, saying that will do their best to play here. Imagine this for a gig, LOG, chimaira and in flames. A great time to be into metal folks, a great time.

Yeah i went last year.its areally good festival,good atmosphere.Because of that i got to see Metallica 3 times in a year,Machine head 2 times in a year and Korn and Slipknot 2 times in a month.

But when played they played with K.S.E. and Shadows in the Ambassador you could get in with an adult.
But that has seemed to have changed, now it is strictly over 18's.
So you could try and get Fake id to get in.

Canada has never gotten a good festival, the best we get is fucking Warped Tour

Thanks for that, i don't want to bring an adult with me though. But i might be able to get in without an adult if i'm lucky. I hope the security guards outside the venue are dopes :D A fake id would would be too risky though, i could get one easily,but even if i did have one i don't look old enough.

You'd REALLY have to look 18. Honestly, last year, at the Feb chimaira show, I was 17, but I looked about 19. I didnt get in, but luckily, I live relatively close to Dublin City, so my Dad came in, and was my "Guardian". Basically, I told him to stay tere for 10mins, so we could disappear into the pit, never to be seen by the bouncers.

I didnt get in, but luckily, I live relatively close to Dublin City, so my Dad came in, and was my "Guardian". Basically, I told him to stay tere for 10mins, so we could disappear into the pit, never to be seen by the bouncers.

I find it annoying the way under 18s are not allowed in :@ , Chimaira rarely curse at all, and there is bouncers there, so why do we need an adult? And if its because of under-age drinking, barmen don't have to sell drink to under 18s.

I'll still go to a Chimaira gig of course, nothing would stop me from going to a Chimaira gig. :D But why all the resrictions? :-{
