This show was highly anticipated for me since i missed chimaira the past 2 or 3 times they were here. All I have to say is that they did not disappoint.

The opening band was Stemm. They were alright, they sound alot better live than they do on CD. They were rather boring but thats just MHO.

Next was Hate Eternal, I know many people on here like them, but i honestly think that they are crap. Every song sounded the same, and they are cheesy as hell with the black metal whispers announcing every song. I cant deny that they were tight as hell, and Talley knocked the shit out of the drums. i guess they are just not my style.

Next was God Forbid, they had a really short setlist and the left guitarist (bald) was having some trouble with his gear. They were really tight and they go the crowd exremely pumped for Arch Enemy.

After a short set-up Arch Enemy was up. Now this was my first time seeing Arch Enemy live, so i didnt really know what to expect. I've seen their videos and heard theor CDs, but live, there singer holds her own among the guys. She tore it up. They were all extremely tight, and the solos were amazing.

Finally Chimaira. They started with this intro that sounded like it was from Lord of the Rings or something of that nature. Then the Nothing Remains sample intro started and people went insane. The light show was amazing and the transitions between the songs were flawless. I give Mark so much respect for playing this show while being sick, and flying in from his grandmothers funeral. Rob and Matt played their new guitars. Andols' new kit is fucking huge, and i do beleive that Jim has a new bass too. Towards the end Mark started getting tired and sick, but he still sounded tight as hell.

The Setlist (as good as i can remember it)

Nothing Remains
Save Ourselves
Power Trip
Inside the Horror
Salvation
The Dehumanizing Process
Pictures in the Goldroom
Pure Hatred
Lazarus
Implements of Destruction!! (FULL!)

After the show Andols came from around the curtain and threw out a skin, and i caught it. It was an amazing night, and if anyone has the chance to see chimaira reunited with andols...do it. it is amazing
