I'm gonna have to go with TDP, even though I love Nothing Remains, I love the way The Dehumanizing Process makes me go fuckin insane :6:

I love TDP, but Nothing Remains as an opening track for both album and live, just absolutely rips everything else a new arsehole!

Anyone else remember when they were releasing video clips of recording for S/T and Rob's one was the start to that solo, but all you could hear was his guitar?

It's still technically a guitar solo though.
That said, I was actually referring to full on solo after it picks up.
its most definitely a guitar solo dudes. its just sort of in the background the whole time. it may not be long, but id call it a solo.. and yea octothorpe watching that clip helped me figure out how to play the intro to that solo.... thats all i know tho :-(
