I could have put this in the "Your Playing" thread I made but this is media and it is sort of Chimaira related :icon4: .
So yeah, I watched The Dehumanizing Process and everytime I watch that DVD I get...Inspired or something, I don't know, there's something about it . So anyway I came up with this riff after watching it and I just had to record it with drums and the whole deal. It's supposed to sound like Chimaira and I think I did a pretty good job. Even on the intro lol.
Oh and this one is in drop D, not C.

Plus I tuned my guitar down to Drop C.
The other sounded more like Chimaira than this one, except for the first riff, that riff is pure Chimairaness, the other..hmm I dunno.. Oh well..

Yeah i'd love to be in a band. Around here though all the guys i know that play instruments are already in bands and none of them need a vocalist.
Ain't that the shits! Over here in Indiana we be looking for a singer! so goes life! I often wonder just HOW many dudes are close to me but I'll never know it as we have the worst musician referral!

Yeah, here's usually how it goes.
1. I sit on the bed or whatever and play, play a riff and think "Quite a decent riff there good sir".
2. Put on the computer and open up Fruity Loops where I program the drums and the bass and additional sound effects.
3. Export the FL file to an mp3.
4. Open up Cool Edit 2.0 and record two guitar channels over said mp3. Right and left.
5. Record vocals if I think there should be any or if I can (If I'm home alone :p)
6. Listen to it, check for errors etc.
7. Saves the mixdown as an mp3.

When I record the guitars and vocals I use my desktop mic, just a normal computer microphone. When I masturbate I use my left hand even though I am right handed, scientists are still baffled about this.

we got our recording stuff today, my dad has already recorded some vocals and guitar with it. I havent heard it yet though cos i was at work all day, but its damn awesome, cant wait to use it.
