Not sure where to put this, so if it's in the wrong place, mods, please move it to the appropriate thread.

Anyway, this is me drumming to Resurrection. Thought i would share.

Timing is off in some sections because i lost the cd mix under my drums. This was also thrown together quick, so it's pretty sloppy.

comments appreciated!

Most of the song needs a LOT of tightening, but I think you got the basic idea going. Sounds good.

Except the "so goddamn powerful part". Sounds bad. :P

Thanks for sharing, I like stuff like this.

awesome.

needs a little tightening like panelon already mentioned but i'm impressed. how'd you record your drums? the quality of the recording is rad.

Due to a lack of inputs on my mixer, i could only use two overhead condenser mics, one snare and one kick mic.

i then ran the cd into the board and mixed everything using my in-ears.

I ran a normal insturment cable from the out on the board into the line-in on the computer using a 1/4 to 1/8 (i think) converter.

Pretty easy to get not too bad quality.

Hey man.
I'm actually saving up for this kind of rig! I already got the kick mic and a mixer. (Gonna get a firepod/8 mics in the future but wanna try it with 4 mics/mixer first)
Could you tell me which gear you used?:)

i use a four channel peavy mixer. not sure what model.

the mics I used are made locally and are sold through a chain of music stores here in northwest Arkansas. Its called OSP. you can check em out here.
