Basically, when you see the people throwing kung fu kicks everywhere, punches, arm twirls. Its all about looking cool and feeling tough. Only a small amount of people get to do it, because only a small amount are that selfish and idiotic as to go out to hurt people at a pit. Its really fucking dangerous, and when its done nobody else can have a good time. Im all about the moshing and having a good time, but when people do the dance, it suddenly gets crap.

If you go into a mosh pit then you are bound to get hurt and should always be prepared. if some1 starts dancing just beat the fuck out of them(unless their mega hard and i dont mean start a fight with them). for me, i really dont give a shit about who does what cause once that heavy music starts, i fucking go mental (but dont dance). just never be scared and bruises hurt but in the end say fuck it, i had a great time.

from the bands point of view, i like to see a sea of people moving, i hate when we have shows and there is this big circle on the floor with some dude kicking at the air. i never understood it. i love that people want to express themselves on the floor, but i like to see EVERYONE moving, not just a little section of future stars of the remake of Karate Kid. when people are kung-fu fighting a lot of times all of the attention from the crowd is focused on those who are pretending they are in fists of fury and that also sucks for the band. It's not like we can say hey we are on stage, don't worry about getting the back of your head kicked in by some douche bag.
so if you ask me, do what you want but if you are training to be a ninja try not to "rule" the pit let others move around as well.

I mean, nothing better than a great mosh or a big circle pit, but I don´t want to be hit in jaw one time after another!! For me there´s nothing wrong to freak out at concerts, but these wannabe-HC-assholes really make me aggressive in the pit...and I don´t want to be that!! Just want to have fun!

Good post man, pits can get OTT when some idiot starts flailing his arms and legs around and hitting people. Some kid at this Amen :amen: gig caught me on the nose with a punch, then later on kicked me in the stomach so I went and warned him, then I saw him deliberatly elbow this guy in the back of the head, so this dude and me picked him up and chucked him over the front row to the security guys so he got kicked out haha :bowl:
