Nile to tour with Chimaira?

I saw a news post today when browsing www.iaym.com that says:

Chimaira/Nile

Chimaira are planning to embark on a headlining run with Nile in tow this August. The group's new self-titled album will drop on July 26th while Nile's latest effort "Annihilation Of The Wicked" will receive a May 24th release on Relapse.

does anyone have any information which suggests this is true? I haven't really listened to Chimaira all that much since their release on East Coast Empire so it should be an interesting tour for me...

its official now, they posted it on thier website. they will be touring with Nile, 3 Inches of Blood and All That Remains right after Sounds of the Underground is finished. It says they will ber hitting places they have never gone before so if they have never come by you, they just might \m/

Shit that's a hot tour. They HAVE to play Portsmouth or Southampton. I've heard Nile are amazing live.

This headline tour with Nile seems to further indicate the death influences on the new album (Nile being a technical death band), which can only be a good thing!

All the same, I'd be curious if Niles new drummer (can't recal his name) can handle Tony Laureano's drumming from ITDS, because, quite frankly, the drumming on Anihilation of the Wicked is fucking shit. Nothing but boring blast speeds with a couple of rolls in between them... He was not the man to continue on for Nile...

Cool to see Nile will be touring with Chimaira. If the tour comes to Canada Nile wont be doing the show because they are not allowed in Canada unfortunetly because of someone in the bands criminla record unless this has been looked after recently.HOPEFULLY!!!!

Anyways to bad Kataklysm isnt on this and hell Macabre would have ruled on tour with Chimaira as well :)
