Jim used 4 and 5 strings on the mini tour, at least he did in Toledo. Just like matt and rob, used 6 and 7 strings. it just depends on the song they play.

Yeah, Jim just swaps basses over for the different tunings on the different songs. Hey was this the date when the band's bus broke down so they had to use Trivium's equipment? because if so, then that explains it.....and Jim is forgiven :p

I don't really like the overall tone of the basses. I love ESP, I think they're fucking awesome. A real metal guitar!\m/ but the bass just doesn't do it for me. Im a warwick girl myself:
