New band from ex-Chimaira

[HAGER]

In case some of you are completely unaware of what's been going on with me lately, or even know who i am... or even care. here's the deal.

I'm no longer in Shenoah. I know those of you who've known me were quite shocked by Shenoah's sound. Even though I love all kinds of music and I'm glad I got to explore a different side of myself, metal is where my heart is. So I decided to leave Shenaoh and start Years Of Fire. It's definately what you'd expext and hope would come from someone who helped start Chimaira. Some of you may know who ASCENSION was... it was my and Matt Devries' band before Chimaira... well Chris, the vocalist from Ascension will be singing... well screaming his head for this band... ok that's enough rambling and shameless self promotion... we'll be hitting the studio in a few weeks to track a few songs... so be on the look out.

so as long as you like your music heavy as fuck, and without out the fasionable comb overs, tight pants and eyeliner... you should be happy. this isn't gonna be something that's pretty one second angry the next with a little breakdown in the middle... we wanna kick your ass from start to finish. we're not a bunch of pretty people so the music we're writing won't be either.

but like i said, we'll be hitting the studio in a couple weeks to start
tracking a few songs, and as soon as they're done they'll be up online for everyone to download.

thanks for all the support guys... and gals... you really make it all worth it. but i need to ask the assistance of the artistically inclined. we are looking for someone... or even multiple people who are capable of drawing t-shirt designs for us... you're gonna have to do a little research and go back to the days of old when metal was pure (ok that just sounded dumb)... we're looking for designs in the vein of old thrash metal bands and early metallica style t shirt art... we're not looking to rip anyone off... just bring back the old school style... and if anyone wants to try and draw us a metal as fuck logo (must be readable) feel free to give that a go as well.

seeing as how we are the brokest people on earth we have no money to pay you for the art... but if we use your design on a shirt you'll by all means get one and we'll also send you a bunch of stickers and random crap we got layin' around.
