uhh...have to say, bass is slightly more noticeable since the last album, drums sound good mark almost sounds the same better vocals and more GUITARS no just 4 riffs
there is like 7 or 9 or something wayyyy more! more complex which is great

Its weird, is it only me or does anyone think the guitars seem weaker and processed? Maybe its just cause its 128bit quality, but i compared it to cleansation and they seem to have lost a bit of power. Overall the song is mixed brilliantly though.

Too hard to decide i'd say.
I was very sceptical about Talley coming in, but his drumming style really fits in with Chimaira and gives it such a great brutal edge! :)

The production is fucking amazing. The drum sound is huge and i think the guitars have plenty of growl to them, whilst keeping clarity!
Great new tech riffs. Thats certainly stepped up from TIOR.

Cant wait to see this live. Definately a headbangin anthem! :D

The only bit im not to sure about is the intro to the second solo. Sorry Rob. Just seems to go on for a bit too long for me.

Chris`s synths have a darkly-orchestral
vibe to them. Really different. Electronic sounding
but not trying to be electronic sounding!!! HMMMM!!!!

And the guitar work...Far more intricate.
And marks voice sounds like a beast rising from

I think the vocals have changed very much, they sound a bit more brutal and not as high pitched as anything in TPD, POOE or TIOR, i think the guitar work is improved even more so too, i think the next album will fuckin amazin, plain and simple.

I agree with everything you guys said... the guitars do seem weaker, which was disapointing, but maybe it just the quaility... the drums are brutal as fuck though, and the vocals i didn't even know mark was capable of bring a whole new element to chimaira

I love the fact Chris stands out more but the whole song is just amazing. They have improved so much, I didn't really know what to expect but I'm just blow away! The lyrics seem much deeper, I think they're maturing are a band and this album is gonna do it for them. By the end of the summer I think everyones gonna be talking about them.
This might sound silly but my favourite part of the song is the Noooooo Mark does about half way through, I don't know why I just think it sounds rad!

Mark's voice has found a new range he never had, I can't wait to hear what else he has in store for us on the album. Compare Nothing Remains and TPD and it's an amazing difference in the space of 5 years.
