They're currently filming a video for one of the B-sides off the album "$t Moolah", it has them rocking out in a mansion, wearing mink coats and gold chains. I hear theres some hot semi-naked girls on there too (H)

mark said they were making a video for it, but in order to make for "air time" they had to cut a minute or so out of it

they're making Chimaira cut out some of the song but they didnt make Machine Head cut out part of Imperium?

Neither song needs anything cut out because they both are long enough to get their point across, that's just crap though. Especially since Nothing Remains is shorter than Imperium.

people cut down songs if im not mistaken so they get played more on tv man
you almost never see tool songs because they are too fucking long

as far as chimairas case, they are parts that are done lots they can cut them out without losing much of the actual core song and still get a good amount of air time on MTV and stuff like that
hopefully that made sence i just got my wisdom teeth pulled

Hey Mark. Back on the DVD you said that you didn't want to do a video for Down Again first but would rather had done Pure Hatred or Power Trip. Is there any songs on the self-title that you feel that you would do first if to make a great video. Not saying that Nothing Remains is not great but what would you do this time around? OR is RoadRunner trying to weasle their way in and make you do the stupid shit?

Instead of 'Dropped' tuning with the bottom E string down 1 step, its just 1 step down on all strings.

nothing remains would be a badass single, can't wait to see how the vid turns out. hopefully a minute cut out won't make it too weird but if it makes for good cohesion between video/audio in the music video that compliments the mood of the song well then i'm sure it'll be just fine.

EDIT: hopefully cutting a minute out doesn't affect the feel/vibe/mood of the song too much because i found that track to be almost flawless.

the track's only 5:39 so i don't really see the need to cut anything out especially an entire minute but oh well.

Yea i reckon it should be an atmospheric video that compliments the song, with less straight up metal and headbanging actions. I know this means more dosh tho lol, but it would show a more developed direction for the band maybe, with Talley and all?

i meant that they be the same videos...they do a lot more than one take on the video. theyre there for the whole day. why not take some parts that were taken out and add them back in for a internet version
