Well folks it was about time Chimairaboard had a revamp, it was much needed, security reason being the main driver, Now fully patched up and shouldnt have any more " malware " snags.

Went for a more simple look, much of the concept of the board is the same, a few nice touched, which ill let you find in due course, Any comments/suggestions etc etc let us know.

Will be making small changes over the coming weeks as theres a few bits of graphics ive missed out.

On a side note, i have added a new forum called Tweets, everything posted/retweeted from the boards twitter gets directed here, Just testing this, may well remove it, as it seems to be collecting alot of retweets, user posts, eswell as the bands tweets,
But for the time being its there if your bored and want to be nosey.

It is advised to clear your browser cache, and also if you have the board bookmarked at http://www.board.chimaira.com then please edit it to http://www.board.chimaira.com/index.php

There is a new feature installed, called post thanks, you can now thank/like posts users post in the threads, this can be found under your user stats on the left!

After logging on, it said "Invalid Redirect URL (http://board.chimaira.com/)"

EDIT: And it's not remembering me between visits (have cookies enabled for the site and all, cleared my cache too).

EDIT #2: Not sure if you're already aware of this, but when we used to click thread titles under "Latest Posts" on the main page, it used to take us directly to the start of the posts we hadn't yet read in that thread. Right now, it seems to be taking me just to the very start of each thread.

Sorry to pester about the bugs :P

Well the old one was more 'simple' and transparent for me, maybe because I was more accustomed to it. I didn't quite get used to it if, but this will happen over some time, I'm sure.

One question: maybe I don't know, but when I open topic with new posts, it always opened on the first page. Is it posible to be opened on the last page, especially since almost all topics have multiple pages?

EDIT: Whoa, that's weird. So when I came to the board just now, I wasn't logged on (or so I thought, because it was asking me to sign in), but I still came and viewed this thread, and even posted a quick reply... After that, I WAS logged in, even without logging in... lol. There's another one for ya, Sev. You're just thrillllllled, I know it ;]

Yeah it seems like when you first visit the page, it looks like it doesnt remember you, but once you refresh, it does.

Oh i see whats going on now. If you go to just "board.chimaira.com" then it doesn't pick you up as logged in. However once you click a link such as the top banner it changes to a php page. like "board.chimaira.com/index.php" or "board.chimaira.com/forumdisplay.php"

I think usually the front page should automatically redirect to the index.php, am i right?

No bookmar; I type board.chimaira.com every time I visit. Always worked before.

When simply going to board.chimaira.com, I found I had that problem. But since I've been going to www.board.chimaira.com, it seems to keep me logged in.

Even if you go to board.chimaira.com, even if you just click the big "Chimaira" at the top, it brings you to a version of the page where you're still logged in (at least for me).

We've decided to remove the Tweet forum so this shouldn't be an problem now.

hey sev, i just found some bug, when you're on a long ass named thread some text shows beneath other one :/492493494
